I inherited a set of carving knives, bought some power tools and turned my storage shed into a tiny little workshop cabin. You would have found me hunched over the bench in here, sawdust in my hair, a podcast playing, turning some piece of wood into something (I think so anyways) beautiful. Now, my workspace is become portable again and you can find me working in the back of the LDV cabin van.
I’ve found myself naturally leaning into making signs surrounded by leafy designs, using rustic pieces of wood with lots of character. More recently, I’ve been inspired by traditional hand painted sing writing, and antique signs, finding ways to bring hints of those into my own work.
